Meet The Editors


  • Editor-in-Chief & Founder

    London Pinkney is a writer and editor.

    Her work has been featured in numerous publications, including the award-winning anthology NonWhite and Woman (Woodhall Press). In 2023, she received a Show Us Your Spines Residency from RADAR Productions at the San Francisco Public Library.

    Pinkney received an MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University and is enrolled in the Master’s in Library & Information Sciences program at San José State University.

    London Pinkney is currently working on her debut book, an experimental essay collection about Black Californians. She is originally from Los Angeles.

    Carlos Quinteros III is a wandering writer who believes in spreading positivity through productivity. He graduated with an MFA in Poetry from San Francisco State University in 2023.

    He is an award-winning poet and has been published in Humble Pie and Seen and Heard, and self-publishes work through the craft of bookbinding.

    Oli Villescas is an anti-war, baseball-loving poet.

    A writer of sorts, proud Chicanx, student and educator. They graduated from San Francisco State University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in English. They hope to spread happiness and tear down the US/Mexico border by any means necessary.

  • Fiction Editor

    Santos Arteaga is a writer. In 2020 he graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Creative Writing. He writes about and critiques the communities he’s a part of including the Latinx community and the LGBTQ+ community.

    His debut short story, “Beach Dwelling Creatures”, was published in Ramblr and won Best Fiction. He’s also worked as an editor for Borderless Zine. In his spare time, he’s either playing video games or lucid dreaming.

    TreVaughn Malik Roach-Carter is a Queer Black writer born in Modesto, California.

    He holds a MFA in creative writing from San Francisco State University. His work has been featured in Ramblr Magazine, Tayo Magazine’s special issue: SOFT, Transfer, BAD EGG Magazine, Borderless, The Ana, Stellium Magazine, and Querencia Press. He is a recipient of the Leo Litwalk Literature Award, a Browning Society Award, and a finalist for the Next Generation Indie Book Awards. He is the author of the Young Adult novel The Aziza Chronicles: Awakening, and the autofiction short story collection Her Daughters.

    Minhee Kim is a writer and artist. They spend their time jumping between poetry, embroidery, and illustration. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Creative Writing.

    Her work has been featured in Transfer, Seen and Heard, and The Ana. They spend as much time as they can at museums and theme parks.
